Fall Camping 2013

We went camping twice this autumn - once with our ward and once as a family - we forgot to take any pictures at the ward camp out - although it was a blast -there was a playground and lots and lots of friends for the girls to play with - along with some games.

Going as a family was just as much fun - the girl's favorite part were the headlights :) and telling stories around the campfire - along with s'mores - (we ate prior to arrive to the camping site at the ward camp out).

We bought camping chairs and sleeping bags for our camping adventures, but we were too cheap to invest in a new tent just yet. Last year in Provo some friends had a brand new 2-3 person tent in their DI box that they had received as a wedding present and were confident that they were never going to use. They offered it to us and we gladly accepted it. We felt it would just be a fun family snuggle :) Lucy did well sleeping outside of her crib, although she's not the snuggle while she sleeps type. She's the "no one can touch me" type - always has been - so she slept spread eagle in the middle of the tent while the rest of us gave her enough room. All in all, it was a great family time!

Side note - at the ward camp out there were only port-a-potties - and Lily is deathly afraid of "yucky toilets" - and so she should either hold it, or go by a tree instead of going in the port a potty)

Lily's first s'more! Epic moment in her life!

Morning cuddles!

The leaves were just starting to change color!

Each morning after camping out, we went for a picnic and a hike.

Lily is shouting out "Rainbow Princess at the end of the video - just fyi
