Lily loves her ballet classes! And especially since her friend Hannah was in her same class. Lucy was still a little frustrated that she couldn't be apart of dance class, but she had Jaxson, Hannah's older brother to play with during lessons and she always got a star sticker after class, just like the big girls - so that made it bearable.
This recital was a little different from the winter recital. She had a different teacher and although she did a great job teaching them technique during classes, she didn't start teaching them the dance until 3 weeks prior to the recital. And she taught them 2 different dances! Lily, well, she had fun being on stage, but most of the time she was up there for the 2 dances she was looking at us or the bright lights. She still had fun so that was all that mattered. And, of course, we went out to the restaurant of her choosing afterwords (McDonald's) to celebrate.
