Lily's 5th Day of Preschool - August 2013

This year we signed Lily up for the preschool at the First Presbyterian church - it's all-denominational and a great preschool - we were lucky she got in - she was on the wait list up until the week before school started. She has an awkward birthday - August 20th - and the school cut off date is August 1st - so that would mean she wouldn't start kindergarten until she was basically 6 years old - but we would have to get her tested to get into kindergarten early. The question is, which is best for Lily? Where would she do the best. It was a big stress in my life (first world problem, I know.) So we decided to put her into a pre-k class and see how she did. 

I'm not a morning person, so this is actually her 5th day of preschool, not the usual 1st day pictures. And of course, Lily refuses to wear pants or shorts. 

We're trying to get Lucy to stop sucking on her finger, so we put some product "Mavala-Stop" on it, it worked for a few days until she just stopped caring how gross her finger tasted. But for those 3 days, she tried to compensate by sucking her toes. And as always, she refused to keep a bow, elastic or anything else in her wild hair.
