In an effort to simplify, we combined Lily & Lucy's birthday party and Lexi's blessing bash into one big party the Saturday night before Lexi's blessing.
| My mom bought these darling coordinating outfits at the gap outlet for their party - but I wasn't able to get a good picture of all of them together. |
| The party went off smoothly, mostly thanks to the extra help of my mom, Rick, Jill & Joe. |
| Bromances |
| Since we are still without a backyard, we held the party at a park, which seems to be becoming a tradition. Plus, we didn't have to clean our house afterwords! |
| Little Quinn Orme - it was a butterfly themed party and all the girls were fluttering around. |
| The boys wanted to be dragons - Lily and her friend Julia compromised by declaring themselves "Butterfly Dragons". |
| Lucy, mid-flutter. |
| My friend Carol made this beautiful butterfly cake! She said it took 5 regular sized cakes to make it - it fed at least 80 people and we still had some left over. |
| Lexi probably would have rather stayed home. |
| Lily loves babies - and this is one of her favorites, Baby Elise. They are apart of our babysitting swap group. |
| Even with all her friends at the playground, Lucy would rather pick flowers. |
| About 3/4 of the kids at the party - the older ones didn't want to be in the picture and most of the younger ones (Lucy's friends) wouldn't stay still long enough to be in it. |
| Lily's only request for her party, a pinata! |
| Lily had the sweetest look on her face when everyone was standing around her singing, "Happy Birthday". |
We had little helpers place the candles on the cake :)
Lily and Lucy has a wonderful evening and we are lucky to have great friends here in Columbus to help us celebrate our darling girls. |
