Trip to Utah - Part 1 - Friends and Cousins

Hurray for Family and Friends! Jordan's brother, Jared, is getting married in St. George, and so we eagerly made the trek west. We decided it would be best to drive straight through without stopping except for bathroom and eating breaks. I was apprehensive but it turned out great - Jordan drove 2/3 of the way. We even made it the first 4 hours without using any technology with the exception of the car's cd player. Lexi did great as well, most thanks to Lily being next to her and entertaining her. We found a McDonalds at night with a playplace and let the kids play for an hour and then put them to bed in the car, moving Lily to the back seats so she could be next to the wall. They all slept all night long - this is when we made the best headway. Jordan and I listened to a great science fiction audiobook - whoever was driving listened on the headphones while the other slept. Our first stop was West Valley City - and I couldn't be up there without seeing my good friends Brittany and Jenna and their kiddos- Lily's long time best friends.

Lily and Chloe

Lucy, Lily, Chloe, Lily D., Audrey (yes she is smearing frosting on her face). Clinton, Brynnly, Claire and Lexi were elsewhere in the house.

Lily, Lucy and Lexi wanted to move right into their cousins house, they had so much fun playing with them every day!

And of course we had to stop by see my Grandma Leany - she is living in an assisted living home just 5 minutes from the temple. She rides the bus to the temple 3x a week and has lots of friends as neighbors.
