| Just 2 days after Christmas it was time for Emma's wedding! They had a beautiful ceremony in the Calgary temple, and then in the afternoon held a ring exchange ceremony for Richard's family since he is the only member in his family. The girls also appreciated the ring ceremony so they could be involved. |

| I think by this point in the trip all the kiddos were exhausted from all the late nights (my girls were going to bed at what would be midnight for them) and over stimulation. |

| The reception dinner was fantastic and afterwords was dancing. Dave was the DJ and after an hour or two of dancing, Jordan slipped in a request for the "hokey pokey" which, of course, was another highlight of the evening for all those under the age of 7. |

| Brad and Tess slipped away for a few days to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary and while they were gone we took Lily, Cali and Laney to a color-me-mine-ish place. |

| And we went sledding again. I was surprised at how well Tessie's kiddos did. Cali would get fits of saddness every now and then but was easily distracted. Eli, I guess, was used to us by now and did well too. Lily never could keep Laney and Cali straight ("the tall one" is how she referred Laney.) and Lucy called them a collective "CallaLily" which is really my mom's cat's name but.... |

| We got back late in the night and all the girls were tired, but we only have a double stroller, so Lucy declared one of the carry on luggages her carriage and along we went. Our luggage arrived a few days after we did, but all in all, it was a successful trip home. Especially considering the fact that Lily and Lucy sat together on one aisle and Jordan, Lexi and I on the other. They did great watching a few shows on the tablet and when Lexi slept, Jordan and I could even read a book during the flight! |

| We had a "2nd Christmas" on New Years Day where we opened our presents to each other. Lily picked out a "Coca-Cola" glass for Jordan and Lucy picked a light up baton for him (I have a feeling that really it was for her). Their selection was limited to the Target's Dollar Section, so he wasn't expecting anything amazing- although the glass has come in handy. My dad sent Lucy a box full of new stuffed kitty cats and she is in heaven. Lily is content with her one kitty from Santa. All the kitties go to Kitty School. |
