Canada! Part 1 - 2 weddings in Cardston

Snow! At least in Canada we had a white Christmas! 

Lily and Lucy couldn't get enough of their cousins - they all played together from the time they woke up (they all slept in the same room each night) until they all finally went to sleep.

When we weren't at weddings, we were hanging out at the house in Lethbridge. It was an awesome vacation house, with a theater rooms (used each and every night), and some fun games for the kiddos. 

The 4 girls (Lucy, Lily, Cali, & Laney) slept in the living room each night. Two on sofas and two on the air mattress in the center of the floor. 

While we were in Lethbridge we were able to meet and spend time with Ricks two brothers, . We were also lucky that Gwen stayed in the house with us so we could get to know her better. She is so kind and loving. 

Hungry Hungry Hippos was the favorite game of the week. 

Sweet Gwen and Lexi bonded over the week, while the other kids went to babysitters while we were at the temple ceremonies, Gwen watched Lexi while she waited in the visitor center. The first time Lexi chose that 45 minute window in which to have a blow-out. Poor Gwen didn't know what to do, but luckily there were some nice moms at the visitor center that came to the rescue. 

Eli and Lucy have a love-irritate relationship. However, all the kids agreed, the post dinner dance at Christopher and Janessa's reception was a blast. Especially the hokey pokey.

The kids were in heaven, dancing, hot chocolate bar, cookie bar - pretty dresses. What more could they want?

Receptions were the only time we danced!

Lexi triedc to get into the Christmas presents early. It's a good thing my mom decorated for Christmas because we didn't back in Columbus. 

The day after we arrived Lucy was complaining about her ears hurting. She does this off and on, but we thought she was just seeking attention or doing it because she was seriously over tired. It turns out, a few months later, she's had fluid behind her ear drums again despite the ear tubes that are still in place. 

We arrived in Calgary a day before Tessie's family, so we tried to distract Lily with various activities while we dodged the frequent, "when will my cousins get here?" question. 

She wasn't happy a few hours later when she threw all this back up. This is when we started to discover that Lexi has a sensitive tummy. 

It was a long day flying to Calgary, but over all, the kids did well. 

At the beginning of the first flight. Overall things went smoothly, Lexi and Lucy waiting until our layover to have accidents. and the girls quietly watched their shows. On the second flight Lexi took a long nap and I even was able to read a book. 

Apparently everyone wanted to sit by Jordan (we had to sit on separate sides of the plane.
